What would be the best airline to fly from Europe to North America?

Is there any low budget airline company that flies from North America to Europe?

  • I looked at the internet but didn't find anything...Like Southwest Airlines but they just fly all over US but their prices are killing(I flew from Buffalo to Orlando and back for $100).Any airline company with lowest airfares flying to Europe?(especially to Czech republic or Germany)

  • Answer:

Is there any low budget airline... N. America to Europe? Yes. But they only fly from some cities, not from Buffalo, and they're not always cheaper than a good sale fare on a "regular" airline. Your specific question--how to get from Buffalo to CZ or DE--got a good hodgepodge of answers already. One idea that has not come up is to consider flights from Toronto. I'll post some links for you below.

I found a flight for 648,24€ (around 540$) with MALEV Hungarian Airlines from New York to Prag or with Alitalia for 637,19€ (530$). From NYC to Frankfurt (FRA) its around 294,15€ (245$). All these flights are roundtrips! You didn't mention any departal day, airport, your return day and your wish target, so I used one Czech, one German and America's most famous airport (in Europe) and a one-week-stay to look for flights. If you want to look for yourself, I'll list some web adresses below: www.bcd-travel-dirct.com www.flight.com www.cheapfares.com Hope this'll help you... P.S.: I looked for 29.October 2006 to 5. November 2006...

try these: www.kayak.com (usually beats every other online search engine, as it covers orbitz, cheapseats, etc). you can get a cheap flight to Frankfurt or Amsterdam and then find dirt cheap flights to the Czech Republic or whereever you're going in germany on www.whichbudget.com You only need those two websites.

try bookingbuddy.com, and once you find a cheap ticket to europe, you can fly there for very cheap with easyjet.com or ryanair.com check them and play arond with diffrent destinations, i am sure it will be helpfull. enjoy your trip!

The best thing to do is check with a travel agency about charter flights. They are planes owned by tour companys and the they sell cheep tickets to places like London, Amsterdam and Paris to fill up the plane. The ride sucks but it gets you there. They ofter have flight to Frankfurt and Munich and you may even find some to Prague out of a big city.

YES there are many, but is not exactly what you call a "low budget" airline. From NYC there are a number of "charter airlines" with fares that can be considered "low budget" Some of the airlines are: World Airways - http://www.worldair.com/index.php North American Airlines - http://www.northamericanair.com/ USA3000 Airlines - http://www.usa3000.com/index.htm LTU - http://www.ltu.com/world/ Martinair - http://www.martinair.com/ Last summer I flew to London on World Airways for $150 RT.

Go on www.lastminute.com type in where you want to go and where you want to leave from look and see which one is the cheapest and buy from that company direct. Dont buy from last minute because they will charge extra and you will get a better rate with the airline itself. Hope that helped!
