Best resort in Lanzarote for a holiday.

Holiday destination September? Sunshine? 24-27 year olds?

• We're looking to book somewhere relatively cheap & cheerful, for a sunshine break in September this year. I'm not sure who I am definately going with, but there are definately 2 of us (both female) aged 24 & 27. We were thinking one of the canary islands, simply because you are guaranteed the weather. We are looking for somewhere lively, although where there is more to do than go to the pub. We went to Zante a couple of years ago club 18-30 and although we did enjoy it, we're looking for something a bit more relaxed, with more options of things to do than just booze cruises/pub crawls etc. I have been to Lanzarote, although I was there with my dad in the Costa Tequise resort. It was maybe a bit quieter than where I would go with a friend. Similarly, my friend has been to Puerto Rico, and she thought that it was more of a relaxing holiday (saying that, her travelling companion was also just looking for a holiday to sit in the sun all day). I was thinking Tenerife, although my friend has also been there, and perhaps would like to try somewhere different lol. Any suggestions? I wouldn't mind going back to Lanazarote (or Puerto Rico - I was there as a child), however, maybe some of you could recommend where you would think would be best? or an alternative resort?

  Ive been to turkey in mid Sept and weather was hot 30c marmaris and gumbet also cheap cos not in euro. I went gumbet on an 18-30s and was great!
