Train from Granada to Seville?

Travel Question: Cheapest way from Barcelona to Granada, Seville & then Madrid?

  • Hey guys, Travelling to Spain this August for the first time ever, and needed some travel advice. We're landing in Barcelona to begin with and spending a couple of days in the city and then planning to head onto Granada, Seville and then to Madrid to catch a flight to the UK. Although, as funds are limited we were wondering about our options, the cheapest way right now seems like getting a 3-day Euro Rail pass for £105 which allows travel between Barcelona, Granada, Seville and Madrid. However on their website, they mention the tickets might not be valid on some of the services and some trains might need prior reservations. Is there any way to find out which trains these are? Ideally, we'd like the overnight trains for the 12 hour journeys but these might be popular among other commuters as well. Any advice on this will be really appreciated! Also, if you have any suggestions about other modes of travel (busses, car share etc), it'd be welcome. Thanks :)

  • Answer:

I think train travel is best way to travel in that region. It is not only easy but also affordable and relaxing.
