Is it better to do a student exchange program in 11th grade or travel through Europe during a gap year?
-
I am in the 10th grade and have the chance to go to France between the 10th and 11th grade through the student exchange program or should I travel through Europe during my gap year?
-
Answer:
Well, ideally I suppose that you could do both... As a practical matter if you wait until you're an adult you'll have more control over what you do and where you go... I doubt they'll let a sixteen year old just go and hop on a train to Italy or something. On the other hand traveling on your own can be expensive, and if this lets you go aboard cheaply that's not a bad idea to take a bird in the hand...
