Holidaying in FINLAND?

probably july or august, by then the weather is warm (and the water in lakes/ the sea). If you plan to travel north, you might consider late august when there is "ruska", which means that the leaves of the trees are turning to beautiful colors. In June the Finns have midsummer fests and in the north the sun does not go down at all. Finland is beautiful throughout summer. My personal favorite part of Finland the the "lake Finland" where there are thousands of lakes in a lovely natural setting.this around cities called Jyvaskyla, Tampere and Kuopio. Cities are quite empty during summers, except for some festivals. If I was you, I'd go in early August, It's lovely and warm, with a hint of the coming autumn. August has deep blue nights, it's warm and the people are friendlier as they have already kept their summer vacations...
