Where is a great water park/ theme park holiday in europe?

Why not stop in Salou itself? Or maybe la Pinada just up the road. The bus from each resort costs only €1 each way (2007 prices) Theres a few all inclusive hotels in Salou and a couple in La Pinada....(I stayed in Esteval park hotel and apartment complex last year..food good ,rooms very clean,staff very helpful,port adventura 15 mins by bus). La Pinada has it's own water park/dolfinarium right on the sea front. When I stayed in Salou a couple of years ago I found you can walk to the theme park in 20 mins from most hotels. Another place with theme park and water parks would be Benidorm. Plenty of hotels have all inclusive rates,and the theme park is 20 mins by bus at one end of town and the water park is 10 mins by bus at the other end of town. If you're taking children both resorts have deals where if you stop at selected hotels you get free tickets for kids to the theme parks.

Portaventura was good the caribe waterpark was great for children and adults. You could stay outside portaventura. Club Daurada Palace hotel and Apartments is a 5-8 minute walk to the park and is a nice place to stay in my opinion. Turkey has some waterparks however have not visited them. Family have visited the one in Marmaris commented it was ok however compact considering the level of tourists that visit not spacious enough. Enjoy.!
