How can you get a cruise job (kitchen) if you're in the Philippines?

PLS ANSWER. Is it likely that i could get this job at Iceland Foods?

• i applied to one in belfast. it says that retail grocery experience is desired... which i dont have. but i have 3 months experience as a kitchen porter and over a years experience as a waitress in a bistro where there is a retail catering sector (like youre able to buy sandwhiches etc etc).... is there a lot of competition? am i in with a good chance or not? im 16 years old.

  Hi. I guess there are a lot of factors involved. Did you send a CV and a covering letter ? both those things would help. How high is the unemployment rate where you are ? (Ireland I guess is high unemployment) Are you local, able to work at short notice ? These things may come up at interview. Is your hopefully new boss a bit of a lady's man who prefers younger women to older ones when viewing applications ? You have as much chance as the next person, and I wish you luck, but keep your head on your shoulders ok. You will get a job, it might not be this one, but you will get a job. Just keep looking.
