It's such a beautiful place! It's clean and pristine. Completely untouched by tourism and inexpensive.

It really depends where r u comming from. If you are driving(like Italians, Germans, etc.) than I would recommend Istria. You can get nice hotel (or private apartment) in Rovinj and from there you can visit whole Istria. http://www.istra.com/rovinj/eng/index.html If you fly, than you should go to Dubrovnik. http://www.dubrovnik-online.com/english/english.php After you fall in love with Croatia, on your next trip you can explore Hvar, Bol and other beauties of Croatia.
