How many McDonalds are there in each state of America?

Would the average European feel richer when they move to America?

• First of all the Euro is worth more than the dollar and developed countries that are not part of the European Union such as Norway and Switzerland enjoy a high standard of living. I currently live in Honolulu, HI, USA and it was ranked 2nd most expensive city in America and 1st most expensive state in America. I have never been to Europe before but I have close family friends who lives there and I have a few friends who's been to Europe before. My mom's really good friend lives in Norway and she told me how ridiculous the prices they have compared to Hawaii however a person working in McDonalds here makes 7.25 an hour while someone in norway probably makes 21 dollars an hour. My friends who traveled to Europe complained how expensive it is because the dollar is weaker and the sales tax are so high in some european countries. I have a classmate from Stockholm, Sweden and she told me Hawaii is more expensive but I find that hard to believe because Stockholm was ranked 16 most expensive city in the world while Honolulu ranked lower than that.

  At least I did in late 2008. My first year of study was in New York, but even there I had more money than many students because I had brought my savings over from Britain. It would not be like that now with the Euro Crisis, however. But I guess it depends on the country. A person from Spain would feel poorer in the States, while a person from for example Norway would feel well-off.
