Do keyboards in Europe have the dollar symbol?

Do keyboards in Europe have a Euro sign instead of a dollar sign?

  • Hmmm...just curious =D

  • Answer:

Most Keyboards I have used do not have the Euro sign, but they do all have the dollar sign. But that may be because we Dutch prefer to have an American Keyboard to most European layouts. That is also because the American keyboards are much cheaper to get, but that is not the only reason. And I hate the French Keyboards, always hit the wrong keys when I have to use one of those.

No, the dollar sign is shift+4; the Euro sign is AltGr+E.

Doesn't your keyboard have a Euro sign? Mine does, right above the arrow keys. And, yes, they also have dollar signs on their keyboards, but not on the 4 like we do.
