What are the trains in England called?

Has anybody here heard of a country called England?

  • My friends talk to me this morning and we talk about a country called England and I have never heard of it and they are in big shock and does not beleive me and calls me stupid. Is they making joke that I am stupid or has lots of people not heard of this England? I looked on the google search this morning and can see now that it is a small island above France but there are lots of small Islands in the world and I don't know all of them. How many people have actually heard of this England just so I don't feel so stupid as they still laughing at me?

How old are you? Maybe you heard of Great Britain instead, or the United Kingdom. Not exactly the same, but they are along the same lines. England is actually part of the United Kingdom, and probably considered the main part. Seriously hard to believe of someone not knowing about England or the UK or Britain, unless you are young. In the very least you should have learned about the British Empire in history class, depending on your age.

Fairly insignificant place really, they where colonised by scandinavian / french / german and Italians over the years, I believe they tried to form a bit of an empire at one time but it's all amounted to nothing really. They aren't very good at sport and politically, they're just America's lap dog. Oh, and it always rains.
