How can i apply to a community college in the USA?

Can you transfer to Moscow State University from USA community college?

  • I already speak Russian sinace I was born and raised there and then in 3rd grade I came to the USA. If I finish high school here (In USA), and get an Associates Degree from a local community college, can I transfer to Moscow State University? What are the requirements to go to Moscow State University? I already have Russian Citizenship, since I was born there and raised there!

    A community college is basically a "trade school". You cannot simply "transfer". MSU is consistently listed as the NUMBER ONE university in Russia. Why not get a degree at community college and then "transfer" to Harvard University or Oxford? It would be just as easy as what you suggest. In case my point has gone over your head, Oxford and Harvard are top universities and not easy to get into. In the event my point has STILL gone over your head, I suggest you enroll in a night school and THEN "transfer" to a major university. If my point STILL goes over your head, you have ZERO chance of getting into MSU. If you do not take my point, I am at a total loss to explain to you the difficulty.

Since you were out of the Russian system of education, you cannot just be 'transfered' from any American college to MGU. There is no system of mutual degree recognition between US and Russia, so you will have to 1) confirm your degree with the Russian system 2) enter the University according to the rules of the confirmed degree http://www.msu.ru
