Friendship Pins?

Russian CCCP pins.. any russian can translate them for me please ?

  • i brought some cheap pins from a camping military shop I brought 2 pins something about russian CCCR But i can not understand what the pins means with the russian name or what does these pins represent. So i took a pic of them so that hope someone may help me out answer my question; http://img85.imageshack.us/i/img1372h.jpg/ the russian words says something like: TBAPANR or FBAPONR Aniways i dont understand the words so i need a russian person to translate what it means. So what does it represent what are the pins means and are. I will rate you full rating for the very best full answer to what this pins really means, Each pins has the name CCCP below the pins

    I'm not Russian, but I can speak the language. The pin says "ГВАРДИЯ" (GVARDIA). It's a standard issue military pin, which was issued to all military personal of soviet elite military units. The pin is not rare at all, now it worth 2 to 5$ each.

These are military/Army pins as was already stated. CCCP is the abbreviation for Союз Советских Социалистических Республик (Soyuz Sovyetskikh Sotsialisticheskikh Respublik) Same as USSR (Union of Soviet Socialist Republics). The other part, ГВАРДИЯ, (gvardiya) means Guard.

CCCP which is actually SSSR if you can read the russian alphabet correctly, is the russian translation for USSR.
