How do I say engagement or fiance in Portuguese?

  • I recently got engaged; but now whenever I see family or friends that I haven't seen in a long time I have to introduce him as my fiance is there such a word in the portuguese language for fiance. I am portuguese but I don't know the word to use can somebody help me? Thank you.
