How to say I love you?

How do I say "I love you" in Portuguese?

• No offense to everyone that wants to help, but I'd really like to hear from a native speaker of Portugal Portuguese, and not someone who's looked this up on Google Translator...so...in Portugal, how would a person say: "I love you" as between good friends, like a man and a woman? Would this vary if it was the man saying it, or the woman saying it? Would it vary if it was a younger boy and younger girl, as opposed to an adult man and woman? Would it vary if it were two women friends saying it to each other? Is there a sort of "casual" version as opposed to a more sincere friends-for-life version? How would you say "I love you" between family members, as in parent to child, or between siblings? How would you say "I love you" between lovers? Is there a "casual" way to say this, as in "Good morning, I love you, I'm off to work?" Is there a more "formal" way to say this, as in "I love you, will you marry me?" Is there a more wistful way to say this, as in "I miss you and I love you." And is there a more passionate, even randy, way to say this, the sort of way you'd say it while engaged in making out or sex? And again in these circumstances, does it make a difference if it is a man saying it to a woman, or a woman saying it to a man? A lot of questions, so lots of thanks for your help!
