How can I get my Portuguese birth certificate?

Does anyone here know how to get portuguese birth certificate online?

I am going to renew my Portuguese ID card in UK. Does anyone know how to get the Birth Certificate online? I have been given a website (http://www.portaldocidadao.pt/PORTAL/pt/) but i don't know portuguese. I have registered there but don't know the procedure to apply. I would be very appreciated if anyone can give me step by step directions.
