A small question about Schengen visa to Portugal?

I have Schengen visa and am deported from portugal?

• hi i have Schengen visa of portugal but before i reach there i cancel my hotel reservation and immigration ask me about my hotel reservation. and i was on tourist visa and my wife was not with me. even she has also a Schengen visa. they reject my entry and stamp on backside of my Schengen visa a square size stamp with (e) mark. i want to ask that if i reserve a hotel again is it possible to travel there again or i need a new visa again? is my visa cancelled? thank you.

  The visa must not be automatically cancelled each time a person is refused entry. If for example, the person cannot prove, when crossing the border, the possession of sufficient means of subsistence, entry must be refused but this does not lead to the automatic cancellation of the visa. If the visa is cancelled, the following procedure must be followed: – a stamp stating “CANCELLED” must be affixed to the visa sticker and the word “visa” is to be crossed out using indelible ink; – the border guard must render the optical variable feature of the visa unusable by using a sharp instrument (for example, a biro or the like). The aim is to prevent the optical variable feature from being removed from the visa and from being misused. You can try to re-enter if your visa has not been cancelled.
