Is it hard to find a job in Poland right now ??? plus what careers are mostly looked at ?

im Polish born and raised i lived 13 years in a small town near Bialystok now im living in NYC with my parents my parents are actually thinking about going back there and staying there but im not so sure about i mean most people are going outside of poland and not going back there so thats a bit stupid for me i haven't been there for 5 years now im going to college next year to study veterinary technology to become a vet tech( its also known as vet nurse) i dont know if it would be a wise choice to go back there even if i decide to go then it wont be that small town i would chose maybe to live somewhere near the sea like maybe Gdansk or Sopot what are the average living expenses ?? like the rent for a flat ,utilities i dont want to live with a roommate i dont want someones mess it will take me a good 2-3 years before im on my own but i just wanna know what im standing on also will it be easy to find a job there ???

From a financial point of view it is better to live in a country where rates of pay are higher than in Poland. People still come from Poland to work in Ireland and Britain, the trend isn't reversing, if you can get a job you will make a lot more money than you could in Poland.

The simplest answer is: nobody knows. A year ago Polish zloty was strong vs. euro, dollar even sterling. With many people gone to work in Britain, Ireland, Italy, jobs in Poland were aplenty. Now, the unemployment rate has risen because Polish subsidiaries of Western companies are being closed due to savings at their parent companies. But some other companies move their production to Poland... But in a couple of years the situation may reverse and unemployment will go down again. As for the veterinary business, I am not sure. The only contact I had with vets was when I took my dog there - but even then these were mostly doctors.
