How can i obtain a work permit?

I hold a work visa in Poland ,how can i obtain a visa to permit me to visit schengen countries?

  If you hold a national type D visa issued by Poland for seasonal work for less than 6 month you cannot apply for a visitors visa to other Schengen countries. If you hold a national D-visa for at least 180 days which is still valid for longer than 3 months you may apply for a visa at the Embassy of the country you plan to visit. If you however should hold a long term work visa you may apply for a temporary residence permit (Karta pobyto) at the district office (Wojewody) of the Polish Office for Foreigners. The Polish residence permit would in turn grant authorization to travel to the 24 other Schengen countries for visiting purposes for up to 90 days in a 6 month period.
