With british passport for which country I do not need visa?

I will be working in Poland for 9 mos., will I need a visa to enter the country-or just a passport?

  • My employer will help me aquire a passport, but do I need a visa initially when entering the country - will the passport suffice. Also, I change planes in Germany. All I will need for that is a paasport?

You will not need a visa for Germany, but you WILL need a work visa for Poland. since you are going to Poland for your employer, it would seem they would help you with the work visa. If your employer has not sent employees to Poland before, maybe they are unaware that you will need a visa to work there. You can go on a tourist visit without a visa, but may not WORK or stay longer without a visa. See website below.
