How is the skiing in Poland?

Anybody being skiing in Zakopane in Poland?

    Family live there and its freezing in winter so pack plenty of thermals but don't worry the vodka is cheap to buy so you can keep warm. Most polish people can understand very basic English and some a little more.There are plenty of buses, taxis and transfer vehicles to get around in the major towns but are quite absent in the country so you have to rely on buses and trains. Things are cheap to buy their and if your an Aussie you get 2.5zloty (their dollar) for our $1.

take cash - down in the town are some wonderful spots however -- it's a cash basis on the neatest spots. it's wonderful you will have a lovely time!!! if you can make it to a Gorale dinner -- please do so andtry the highlanders tea - as long as you're not driving LOL enjoy the Tarty Mts!! oh and no AMEX - visa if anything is accepted.

i went skiing there while i was still living in poland. its a lot of fun. dont get robbed, so look over at ur travel bags. people steel wherever u go. and thats all, have fun, eat good food. have a nice trip
