What is the best way to go to Den Haag from Amsterdam, Netherlands?

There's three real options. First you could ride a bicycle there. Depending on how fast you are this will take several hours to all day. The route is probably nice and you could probably make it very nice with a littlebit of planning. Never tried it, sorry :) Second you could drive a car. This will take you 30 minutes if you go over the speedlimit (don't, very expensive!) on a clear road and several hours if you go during rush hour and have bad luck. Parking is almost as expensive in Den Haag as it is in Amsterdam but public transport is at least as good if not better. Den Haag is also smaller so you don't really want a car there, public transport is much easier and cheaper. Third is taking a train. Trains go from Amsterdam to Den Haag 24 hours a day, several every hour during the day and eearly evening. €10,- for a one way adult ticket. It takes about 45 to 50 minutes... Try to go to Den Haag Centraal instead of Hollands Spoor if you have the choice...

The easiest way is to use the Netherlands Railways - www.ns.nl. The trip is approximately 50 minutes by train

by train is fastest from city centre to city centre. it takes around 40-45 minutes. driving is ofcourse also an option, youll take the A4-highway out of amsterdam, straight to the hague. be careful though this road ALWAYS jams during rush hour.
