If I do CCNA or MCSE can I get a good job?

MCSE and CCNA, will it be easy to get a job in Amsterdam?

• I'm a 30 years old IT Professional with 8 years of experince, i'm MCSE, CCNA and i'm doing ITIL v3 foundation now. will it be easy to get a job in Amsterdam? i'm getting married to my girlfriend who lives in Amsterdam and am moving there after few months. Would you please advice of any other skill that i need to make it easier for me? another certificate for example or training course? Please advice. Thanks. PS: I don't speak dutch.

  There are IT jobs here but not as many as before the economic crisis. You should also expect to be hired on a temporary contract initially. It's very rare to get a permanent contract right away. I suggest you research international companies which have their European office in the Amsterdam area and also post your CV on Monsterboard. I won't recommend a particular job agency, there are good and bad ones. Next time you're in Amsterdam, register for a BSN number using your girlfriend's address. You may also want to look further away, most cities and towns are easily reached by public transport. If you see a job ad that requires you to speak Dutch, don't be put off applying for it. If your profile fits, they may still hire you without Dutch fluency. You should be prepared to lower your expectations a little: salaries here are lower than in the UK and not many people are eligible for the 30% tax ruling. You will be in competition with Dutch candidates who are fluent in English and often several other languages. However with your qualifications you should land a decent job. Finally, get medical insurance organized as soon as possible
