How far is Alicante Terminal Train station from the airport?

How can I enter Amsterdam Centraal rail station to catch the 0445 train to Schiphol Airport?

• On 7th August I wanted to catch the 0445 train (track 8a) from Amsterdam Centraal to Schiphol Airport. When I arrived at the station, the doors were locked. There was a notice on the door saying that the station opened at 0545. Lots of people were waiting outside the station. At the time, I took a taxi to Schipol Airport instead of taking the train, but I want to go to Amsterdam again and I'd like to know how to get into the station to catch the 0445 train.

  I did a quick google on the date and this came up (in Dutch) http://www.ivv.amsterdam.nl/@222593/cs_west-ingang/ Basically it says that from 04/Aug the West entrance of Centraal Station on the side of the Victoria Hotel, is closed between 01:00-05:00 but that the East entrance (by McBike) is open. Previously the West entrance was open during the night and that it is in relation with the Nighttime Ticket & Service booth which was located at the West entrance and than from 04/Aug this has been moved to the country by the entrance to the East Hall and so now the East entrance is open between 01:00 and 05:00 However it is a bit strange that the notice did not mention the change of entrances? You might want to check the day previously at the station with staff to make sure 100%. EDIT - Hi, I just typed "Amsterdam Centraal Station" and "gesloten" and "Augustus 2009" and it came up. Easy as that :0)
