Where can we see the Songkrann?

Amsterdam,can you give me some advices about the places i should see and where to go?

Im making a list for my New Year, i will start in London on 31 December and after that i will take a flight and go to Amsterdam.However i can only stay in Amsterdam until 3 january(Monday)when i will try to get the last flight to enjoy the max i can of Amsterdam.But i dont know if in 3 days i will can see the majority of things and if in 1st of january the shops are all closed i only stay with 2 Days to see the Things.What do you think about this,should i stay more days or i can see the majority of things in 2 days and i can ever return later in the year if i want?And can you give me some advices about the places i should see and where to go?
