Im looking for Cora Romein in the Amsterdam area?

Did you try the courthouse in Amsterdam, if she still lives there than they will know where en what her current name is. In The Netherlands everybody has to be registered in the city where they live. Good Luck!

You aren't having much success looking for your friend. (I previously suggested the telefoon gids). I think the only avenue open to you now is to spend a few days in Amsterdam, and look into the possibility of checking the equivalent of the electoral register.
