HELP what's the weather like in Greece in April?

With the strange weather lately all around the world - it's difficult to predict! However past Aprils have ranged from chilly to warm(ish) - It's Spring - so expect Spring weather. Please be aware that the tourist season (especially on islands) does not begin till May. Also the sea will be too cold to swim in unless you're VERY brave! Weather also depends on which part of Greece you are thinking of visiting. The farther south the better the chance of rainless days and warmer weather.

Actually a lot of what you are use to at home depends on how cool you think it will be there. I will explain, I am from the Southern part of the USA and so am very use to cooler days...to us April is warm, about like in Greece. To them, on my trips there in April, they still wore coats or jackets. I will admit nights can be quite cool and early mornings, so just go prepared for layers and take jackets. April its beginning to get warmer, May-June is very nice, July-August very hot but has breezes and not as humid as we have in Mississippi so for me I am use to it. No swimming trips in April, they would know you were a tourist by being crazy in the water at that time of year...it IS still cold water....lol.
