France, Italy and Greece for the summer of 2011.?

I got in this people to people program and they gave me an awesome oppurtunity to go to France, Italy and Greece next summer. Of course I want to go but i'm really worried about going and not knowing anyone and on top of that i'm reeally going to miss my family. Especially my boyfriend, we're already in a long distance relationship so idk how this will go. Suggestions.? Anyone know about this program.?

Do it! International travel is one of the best gifts in life that you can give to yourself! You will meet people because you're going to be in a program, you're not going completely by yourself and living by yourself over there. When you travel abroad you learn soooo much about other cultures and it puts your own life in perspective. Don't worry about the bf! You already said you're long distance so it's not like you're always seeing him anyways. He can come visit! Gooooo! I LOVE Europe!

go and have fun, either way you will be in a same relationship with your boyfriend, the difference is you've gone to france, italy, and greece.

The People to People programme is about as close to a SCAM as you can get while remaining legal. If you really want to visit Europe then plan it yourself. It will cost about 25% of what People to People charge. Ian
