Can I have tips of deep sea fishing?

Can anyone give me tips on sea fishing in corfu?

• i will be visiting roda in corfu in August and am looking for tips for sea fishing off the rocks, beaches and in the harbours in the area

  Roda in Corfu is rather low on sea level so actually you do not have many Higher up points to fish from. However, early in the morning or late in the afternoon, before or after a lot of people are around, you may a suitable point and fish off there casting your line as far as possible. I know Roda but I don't actually now the seabed around it , but you can always ask locally to tell you where is best to fish that your line will not be caught in stones and be cut off every so often. On the left of the seaside is the village of Astrakeri and it has a better environment for fishing. Try there if you can. Mind you, there are not many fish around and only if you will be lucky you may land something big on your line If you can rent a boat and fish a little further off the coast you may be luckier. A bit of advice. Spend some time of your first day there observing the place and select a place according to the appeal it has on your fishing instincts. Keep in mind is not a river or a lake.
