About US$2000 and I was there for business recently for a week too. Stayed in Athens. The accommodations are fairly cheap in Athens (40 Euros / night is where I stayed at the heart of Athens) because everyone is on holiday at Greek Islands. If you want just a vacation in Athens, you will be able to see the amazing sites in one week.

my family is from Greece and i still have many relatives still there and they say it's not worth it to visit them in Greece this year because their economy sucks so everything is SUPER expensive....if that helps
