What is the weather in Greece?

What is the weather in Greece like during March?

  • I am going on a trip to Greece next March Break, and I would like to know what the weather is like. Has anyone been there during March?

  • Answer:

It's a bit rainy, but actually it depends on the part of Greece you're going to. If you're going to Athens and the islands, then it is going to be 20°C with sunny days, but in Northern Greece (Macedonia, Epirus and Thrace regions) temperatures are going to be lower.

Not that cold. Depending on where you are from. 10 degrees or so. but bring heavy clothes because the 10 degrees in Greece is like five somewhere else because its windy etc. How much are you paying for the trip. I went to Greece last year with www.vacancestravel.com and went there for free!!! I also brought a friend for free... How is that? www.vacancestravel.com have a secret deal where if you bring 10 friends or family, you and a friend come for free (all you pay is your air ticket which you get yourself) hope you have fun. greece is amazing....go to some islands for sure

I spent January and February in Athens on one of my trips and the wind was very cold and I was wearing a wool coat. March it may not be quite so cold but there won't be any swimming in March...at least there still wasn't any swimming done in April when I was also there. It will be wonderful time for you no matter what month it is, so just take warm clothing and enjoy.
