What is the weather like in Greece in March?

Take a jacket, regular shoes and a hat in case it rains, which it well might. The daytime temps will be in the 60s and 70s, so the middle of the summer in Greece hot weather gear can stay home. You will most likely need the jacket when going out at night. There are very few night spots in Greece that require really nice clothes. I will be there at exactly the same time. I'll wave.

lets see if can help you out on this one...I spent Jan & Feb in Athens one year, very very cold those 2 months, not there in March month, then been there in April was was still cool weather and friends living in Athens were still wearing jackets around but to me it was long sleeves at times or just wear layering as the day warmed up. Light sweaters at night if eat out higher elevations. I'm going this year in May and should be nice and pleasant for sunning around the pools but the sea may still have a bit of chill to it, not sure since I usually go in summer months...june, july and august months. You'll find its fun no matter the weather and I'm already counting the days until my return. Just take capris, jeans, layering type tops and you'll be fine

Chilly Im afraid. Doesnt start warming up here until April and the further North, the chillier. Ok, it wont be coat weather, but definately jacket weather. But luckily even in Summer we have bright Sunny days, so yes sunglasses needed :o) You might get lucky and have a few days where you can take your jacket off or wear a t-shirt. But it won't be unpleasant weather. Bright and Sunny, with a slight chill factor. But it could very well rain, so be prepared for that!

On March the weather in not very cold, but it's not even warm. The seasons in Greece come true. You have to be prepared for warm days and cold nights. The weather makes warm after middle of April.
