Any good holiday places?

Where are good holiday places in Greece for teenagers?

  • Me and my friends want to go on holiday in April to Greece. We will all be 17. We want to go somewhere really traditional with a beach, a lively atmosphere but not too crazy. Does anyone know some great places we could go in Greece that are also fairly cheap?

As you can see, this domain is full of trolls. As suggested though by the only serious answerer, Crete is an excellent destination. Not the only place of course. April is a good month. It's gonna be warm and sunny most of the time. On 24/04/11 it will be Orthodox Easter too, so if you are anywhere in the countryside (this includes the islands), you'll be able to experience a really festive tradition. should be good (people do fireworks, eat so unbelievably much and dance for hours) :) I would not really recommend Myconos as it is the place where people party 24/7, especially in the summer. It's like Ibiza (and it's pretty expensive too). Santorini would be a spectacular place, but it's not gonna be much cheap neither. Other suggestions would be: Kea, Kithira, Milos and Paros among others. You gonna have a good time wherever you go :))))

Crete is your best bet

Most young people who are out for party holidays will choose Ios, a rather small island but with lots of parties going on. It was formerly "The Hippie Island " of Greece. Nowadays it's more like the Ibiza of Greece. An island I can warmly recommend is Samos. In the south of the island you will find two nice places, "Ormos" and "Votsalakia". I bet you'll love it there. Samos is the greenest island in the Aegean sea and it also has the highest mountains; 1442m high. Votsalakia is situated right behind the biggest mountain and offers a 1 km long sandy beach and a lot of taverns, restaurants and bars.

In April it's not too warm, so the "crazy" places will still only just be lively. Faliraki at this time of year could be good, although not too traditional. I'd go with Lindos for the right atmosphere. Both are on the Island of Rhodes.

islands with weird names as Ethiopoudos and Analis Rectaliona

We are ruined in riots, burned in fires. Crisis at all levels. No, Greece is not able to solve this problems alone. We need our neighbor countries armies to intervene to organize some order.

Greece is not safe. So come to Croatia where rich people go. Don't go to Somalia, Greece or Yemen where poor syndicalists make protests and dye in riots.
