What is a good place to stay at in Pennsylvania Dutch Country?

If you were "obliged" to stay 6 MONTHS in the same beach resort, in any country, which place would you chose?

  • And WHY? I mean, 6 months is a long time...You have everything "all inclusive", no limit restaurant, free open-bar, etc...But you CAN'T leave the place, like if you were a "holidays prisoner"... So what holiday resort would NOT get you "bored" after some 'excessive" time there? ps : And how much would be the price of that 6 months stay?? Thanks

  • Answer:

Six months is a long time to be staying idle in one place. Whatever amenities you could be offered, eventually you would have been bored. However, if that time could be shared with someone you cared and loved, then I would not tell you the place because I would want that to be secret. I will not want others to be there. Only me and her and trust me no moments will be wasted. As for the cost? Those moments will be priceless, so sky is the limit.

Nea Roda, Chalkidiki. The sea is like a pool there. And also it's full of trees, not like the islands which are dry as hell.

Sidari in Corfu! That place is gorgeous! A fantastic beach! Lovely people, There is just enough nightlife but also some quiet areas too, =D One of the best holidays i've been on! =) I would happily oblige to stay there for 6 months =D And not forgetting that Greek Food is also the best! (Well the best of the various multicultural food I have already tried, of course I haven't managed to try every food there is in the world)

Right on, but a toss up - Rhodes or Zakinthos. One of the two for sure and I am available to be so "trapped"

6 months, No problem I live permanently In Ayia Napa Cyprus and never get bored even in the off season in March. I do it quite happily on a budget of about €1200 per month but I own the flat so no rent to pay. Greatest place in the world for an Englishman to retire to. Ian M

This question belongs to the section Travel general. If I were obliged to stay six months in the same beach resort I would choose Hawai of course and the second place would be Seychelles.
