What's the cheapest way to get from Athens to Stoupa, Greece?

  • We are flying into Athens and need to get to Stoupa and we were looking for the cheapest way there..

    You can take the KTEL bus from Kifisos starting bus stop. It is approximately 4 hours to Kalamata and 1 hour of difficult route down the mountain afterwards. Stoupa has an AMAZING sandy beach, called Kalogria, with crystal clear waters...and very-very COLD!!! There are cold water springs inside that's why, but i personally love it :) Also, the food is great but you will get 5 pounds with the amount of oilive oil they use over there... The cheapest way to get there is by using the buses of Kalamata KTEL to go to Kalamata and from there take the local bus to Stoupa.

Airpole.

Walk or ride a bike. Hitchhiking works too, but they might want you to chip in for gas...
