What is it like living in France/Greece?

• I'm very interested in living in both places..So if you have any information on how both countries are different from America (pros and cons), please share. Also how much would you need to make yearly in order to live really good in these countries? Preferably answer these if you have lived in one of these countries. Thanks!!

  France is a very beautiful and cultured place, culture is cherished a lot, people are elegant and beautiful, and there is a lot of flirting going on - including sex. You find nice cafes, museums, food, wine and sweets that are a delight even to the eye! I don't know how much you need to make there these days. But keep in mind that Paris, as any other big city, is also stressful, if you go there for work havin to run in the irty underground to get to work rather than being on holidays. Greece is also very beautiful, more easy-going, friendly, great weather, amazing monuments wherever you go, beautiful sea, and delicious foods and wines beyond your expectations (I mean they are not so known as the French ones, but some are equally good). As anywhere, how good your life will be in Greece depends greatly on how much you will be making, but if you want to really have a good time you need to earn at least 35.000 euros per year (Keep in mind that some of it will be given for taxes and socail security). You can live decently if you make 20.000 euros. The problem is that it is really hard to get a good job in Greece right now, because of the financial crisis. It is possible to get temporary jobs in the tourism area for the summer. Keep in mind that the financial crisis has not caused problems in the services you can get inGreece, quite the opposite, things are cheaper for tourists now. There are still wonderful places, foods etc. But people get lower salaries and there is more unemployment.
