Whats Greece like outside of Big Cities like Athens?

  • Hey, I wanna take a year-exchange trip to Greece and I found tons of information on what its like in Athens,Greek but what about smaller towns? If you live or have lived in Greece then would you recommend it as a place to stay?

    I lived in greece since I was 20 then moved to the America. Greece is awesome I would definetly reccomend that it is an awesome place to stay. My top ten would be .... 1. Santorini 2. Crete 3. Corfu 4. Rhodes 5. Mykonos 6. Paros 7. Skiathos 8. Ios 9. Naxos 10. Sifnos

ive been to malia in crete its really nice there, the people are so friendly and would do anything to help you. there are small towns which are so peaceful and the place is really nice. you must go to thessally to city of larisa and to trikala! in larisa you can see 2 ancient theatres in the centre of the city. also larisa is the capital of thessally and the 4 biggest city in greece. also larisa become the centre of commercial with 5 malls.one new airport ond new roads.. 20 km north of trikala the 9 biggest city in greece you can see the monument of meteora which is protected by unesco and over of 3.000.000 turists visited it. trikala is one of the most buetifull cities in greece and you can see in the centre of the city the monument of asklipiio the first hospital in the world from the first doctor in humanity history. recently opened one new mall there.
