Are the Greek islands?

Fallen in love with greek islands?

  • My dad lives in NY and he went to greek islands skopelos and skiathos. He brought back a film from the islands and I immediatly fell in love with the islands. Its like when you day dream of being in a place that you never thought it would exists and all of a sudden the dream becomes true. I always wanted to live in a place like these islands, but I dont know anything at all about these islands lifestyle, culture and language. Please, give me examples of how the real life is in these islands and how wealthy I need to be to live in them.

i live in the city which ''owns'' these islands together with the island Allonissos. these three islands are called the Sporades. They are like every other place in Greece. People there speak Greek,eat greek food. their beaches are wonderfull and people there are kind . but i have to say that in winter it's not so pleasant living in an island. i have been only to Skopelos and Skiathos but i know that Allonissos is a beautiful island as well.
