Anyone recommend a holiday resort in Lanzarote.?

Hoping to go in October but not sure where. Want somewhere near bars and restaurants with a bit of life, not too noisy thought, preferably near beach. Hotel or self catering, not really bothered but of a decent star rating.

Puerto del Carmen is nice - good beach with a long line of bars and restaurants all along the sea front. Most of the accommodation is up behind this strip so it's still possible to find a quiet spot close to the resort attractions. PS why did you post this question in 'Greece' ?? You DO know where you're going, don't you??!!

Don't know what age you are but Lanzarote is mainly suitable for couples and families. Definitely not an 18-30 place. My husband and I love it, but we are both 60years of age, but still like a bit of nightlife. We are going in September/October to Playa Blanca, in the south of the island. It has plenty lovely restaurants/bars, some live music places, beautiful beaches. The main resort is Puerto Del Carmen which is bigger and has more of everything but is still nice. Costa Teguise is nice too but not quite as much nightlife. We also go to Corralejo in the north of Fuerteventura. It is similar to Playa Blanca in Lanzarote. Nice and warm all year round too. By the way, Lanzarote and Fuerteventura in the Canary Islands and nothing to do with Greece.
