Croatia is much cheaper than Greece, it reflects the economical development of the two coutries, Croatia is a post communist State, Greece is in EU since 1981 and in NATO since 1952. As Snake Goddess said, depends on what you're actually looking for. If you want clean beaches and sun, Croatia is ok. But if you also want nightlife and sights, Greece is the place for you.
