How can I get from Nice airport to the old port?

How long will it take me to get from Santorini airport in Greece to Santorini port on tues 4th August?

  • I am flying into Santorini airport at 16.25 on Tues 4th Aug, and i wanted to get a ferry at 17.30 to ios from Santorini Port...Do you think this is too tight for time?also how would you advise me to get there?taxi? is there a way of booking a taxi before i go? Thank you

    You can call for a taxi at these numbers: +30 22860 22555 +30 22860 23951 Santorini is only 12 miles long and 5 miles wide....so I wouldn't think it would take very long to get from one place to another. But then again, I've never been there so I don't know for sure.

I think it takes about 20 minutes to get to the port from the airport. Don't quote me on that. I've only been to the port and seen the airport from one of the hills. I wouldn't worry too much about transportation. I guarantee once you arrive, you will be swarmed by people offering you places to stay, taxi rides, tour guides, and anything else that visitors could want. Besides, they have rental vehicles all over the place for only about 15 or 20 euro a day. I'm not sure if you're staying there or just there for a transfer, but I highly recommend renting a scooter if you do stay. Also, if you don't like the crowds of tourists, visit the southern part of the island. Probably too much information for a simple question, but I hope it helps. Have fun!!!
