Anyone been to magaluf?

  • recently got back off of my 1st girls holiday to zante, it was amazinggg! now were trying to decide where to next, theres 2 options, aiya napa or magaluf? anyone been to either or both. Going for the nightlife sooo reviews please! Thanks.

Lagenas and Magaluf are very similar. They are both excellent places. They where we send all our slappers and immature boys so that other places can be pleasantly quiet.

Magaluf is a fairly small area which is packed with bars and other places to get drunk and/or ripped off. You won't take more than 40 minutes to walk through during the day to suss out places to go to when the sun sets and you can be ratted all night. But don't expect much sympathy from the police if you're robbed or assaulted when drunk. Beware of pick pockets and bag snatchers. If you fancy some more sober and less rip-off entertainment there are some good water parks and other "adult fairground" type attractions (look for the updside down house) around the resort. The Pirates show is worth a visit. The beaches are great for posing in your thongs (only) and getting picked up by smarmy locals (watch out if you get involved). A bus to Palma will give some very good shopping. Better value than Magaluf.
