Traveling tips?

I have a relative traveling to Greece, Rome: Italy in the next 6 months. Any tips on traveling overseas???

They have never traveled out of the US. Nor have I. Any traveling tips would be appreciated. Thanks!!!!

Use bottled water. The water in Italy and Greece is safe to drink but always play it safe. Diet Coke is called Coke Light in Europe. Italians like to drink Pepsi but it tastes different that in the USA. When in Greece, see all the museums but reserve some time for clubbing at night. Do not have sex with anyone unless you plan on bringing home some VD's. Don't get drunk. Europeans admire folks who are reserved when it comes to drinking. I Cr 13;8a

Nothing to worry about, no tips really, other than: 1. beware of taxi drivers, they may try to get more money than they deserve. Always check the counter and check the path they take. 2. beware of pick-pockets, as far as Italy is concerned. 3. enjoy the food, the architecture, the museums, the sea, the monuments, the wine (try all the local specialties, please don't go to Mc Donalds!)... 4. you will find very good sea-food in these countries, but I would avoid it because a food-poisoning during travelling may be very disturbing. Do eat fresh fish though!
