Anyone with good experience as tourist in Greece?

  • I'm from Norway,visited Greece this summer. People were unfriendly toward anyone who's not greek and they tried to rip me off everywhere (from taxi to supermarket). Very bad experience. Anyone with good experience as tourist in greece?

    I have absolutely nothing bad to say about Greece. Have been often and was there earlier this year, and not even the taxi's ripped me off...quite the opposite in fact!

To answer your question...I am from Norway too! :D I am fair and blond of course (like you) and Greece is my TOP OF THE TOPS holiday destination. Greek beaches are the best I have been through, and I have been to every single beach around the Mediterranean, you know! :D :D :D I adore warm, friendly and smiling people there! I advice everyone else, except you, to visit Greece at least one in their life time. It will be a rewarding experience.

Im really sorry to hear you had a bad experience in Greece but I assume you just came across the wrong people.Greek people are known for their hospitality and friendliness throughout the world. Ive been to Greece and honestly I enjoyed every minute of it.I made lots of friends who told me that I can always visit them,and even stay at their houses when I visit.The people,the atmosphere and everything was GREAT.so yes,I had very good experience as a tourist in Greece.

I always have good experience as tourist in Greece I have been to unfriendly countries but will not say which one as It would affect a lot of friendly and innocent people I haven't met yet Taxis can rip you off no matter where you are As for the supermarkets I doubt they rip you off, there are prices posted on the product.

Nice try Ingrid or whatever the hell you are called. Possibly they have seen you are blonde and they tried to confirm the rule about blonds. Get a live, however you are. What is more, stop giving Norway a bad name for its blondes. Besides, a lot of them are married to Greeks.Possibly they were semi-blondes.
