Is it safe to go to Greece?

Is Greece a fairly safe country to go travel? (or go for vacation)?

  • I want to go there and travel around..... visit sites..etc I have a relative who is also going to move there. just curious is it a relativly safe country to stay?

    I have visited Greece & the Islands since 1992, at least 3 times a year, and out of that experience, I can consider Greece a safe country to visit. Particular behavour in traffic and state of roads are critical point where you have to pay attention. It is good & safe to stay in Greece; enjoy your visit. greece belongs to the countries with the lowest crime rates in the world,so yes,its safe the percent of people who speak english is hig (except if you visit some small small villages with overaged villager.then yes,they dont speak english!!!! laoplano: for the nosense who talk about 17N!!!!hello?????all the members of the 17november is in prison,since....about 3-4 years...... i think you only want to blame greece...... but you should check news about greece,more often;)
