Mermaid's Legend- Does it match the Polish mermaid legend?

  • I am searching for the Danish mermaid legend to see if there is something in particular to the Polish mermaid of Warsaw. I know that legends aren't exact in time, nor in words... but the legend about polish mermaid is told that- Danish mermaid was Warsaw's mermaid sister. Let's see how is the legend of the mermaid which is at the port (Copenhagen). Any other mermaid in Europe? I am seeking for "wet legends". Brazil.

i don't know anything about other mermaids then the one in Denmark, and its not that exciting. or it is just because i live.. but if i remember right, the danish mermaid is there because of the danish author H.C.Andersen who wrote the Little Mermaid... And H.C. Andersen is kind of a legend here in Denmark
