Does a person with permanent residence in Denmark receive tax benefits (like healthcare, free education etc.)?

  In short yes but for education some of the educational institutions have specific demands for admission, like certain criteria educational-wise must be fulfilled to apply for university etc. Other than that you have the same benefits as a Danish citizen except getting paid by the state to study (a support fee given by the state to ensure the students don't have to over work them selves but can focus on studying) if not a Danish national you have to apply for it but it is usually granted: "If you are a non-Danish citizen If you are a non-Danish citizen, you can apply to the Danish Educational Support Agency and ask to be put on an equal footing with Danish citizens before you apply. This is possible if, for example, you have moved to Denmark with your parents before your 20th birthday and still reside here, if you are married to a Danish citizen and have lived in the country for at least two years, or if you have had paid employment in Denmark prior to beginning your education.
