Belgium War Graves- Careers and Internships.?

• I loved visiting the In Flanders Field Museum in Ypres a few years ago, and as a result I always wanted to do a gap year/voluntary work in Belgium. I really don't know where to begin and how to go about it... just wondered if anyone had any ideas or suggestions :-) I'm in my first year at Uni now, and was wondering about doing something for 3 months in the summer. Any ideas??? I'd be so grateful :) x

  Do you want to work around the War Graves or does not matter what or where you want to work? In the first case you can start by contacting: - the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, this organisation take care of the British war graves http://www.cwgc.org/ - the people of the IJzertoren in Diksmuide also can use volunteers. This organisation works around Peace, Freedom and Tolerance http://www.ijzertoren.org/? (it seems they can use an technical editor for their website also) - in the small village "Mesen" there is an Irish Peace Park.
