Please help im from ohio and i want to go on a solo vacation to the atlantic ocean?

I've been wanting to go for a weeks solo vacation to see the atlantic ocean by myself im a 20 year old male and im from ohio im planning to travel by car and im going to stay in a motel can someone tell me where i should go to see the atlantic ocean while keeping the distance in mind since im from ohio. Id like to see the ocean and walk along the shore and see whales,dolphins,sharks and so on mainly the wildlife in the wild while staying on shore. any advice on where i should go to see the atlantic ocean or what motel i should stay in would be much appreceiated please help ! thanks! ps. i got a couple ideas from people they said atlantic city new jersey or nags head (nc) but im still not sure where to go i've never been to the atlantic ocean before and i need more imformation first.

GEEZUS... you say you are TWENTY YEARS OLD?... you sound like a TEN YEAR OLD... you are now and ADULT... so just get in your damn car and GO EAST.. sooner or later you have to stop and that big body of water you see will be the ATLANTIC OCEAN... have you never even been outside the town where you were born? Get in your car and EXPERIENCE LIFE for a change. What IS IT with people your age that you have to have everything SAFE and planned out... don't you people even have a sense of ADVENTURE any longer?.. you can also BUY A GUIDE BOOK.. they do publish them.. but you have to go in a BOOK STORE to BUY A GUIDE BOOK.
