What is the cheapest way to get from Toronto to St. Kitts?

Is a 2-way airline ticket required to enter Nevis (St. Kitts & Nevis, West Indies)?

  • Hello guys! I will be going to Nevis (St. Kitts & Nevis, West Indies) in a couple of weeks. I will be starting school there so I'll be staying longer than 30 days. I will be departing US on a 1-way ticket to Nevis (stops at Miami & Puerto Rico). I heard that the Nevis immigration requires visitors staying longer than 30 days to have a 2-way ticket in hand. I only have a 1-way ticket currently (financial reasons). And will purchase the way-back ticket when I get there... Will I have a problem entering Nevis? Will they let me start school and purchase my way-back ticket when I get there? Please help! I appreciate it! Thank you so much!

WHY do you people ask these questions here on Answers rather than ASKING THE PROPER AUTHORITIES? You will probably be TURNED AROUND and put on the NEXT PLANE OUT if you don't have a ROUND TRIP TICKET because almost EVERY COUNTRY IN THE WORLD is now requiring that people have either a ROUND TRIP TICKET, of a CONTINUATION TICKET or enough CASH to BUY a return ticket before they allow you into the country. Countries are sick and tired of all the losers coming into their countries from developing countries or even countries like the U.S. and U.K. who are BROKE.. down on their luck.. or delusional enough to believe they can move so some Caribbean island with NO SKILLS... unable to speak the local languages and become a DRAIN ON THE LOCAL ECONOMY. Why are you waiting until you GET THERE to buy the return ticket? IT'S CHEAPER TO BUY IT WHEN YOU BUY THE ORIGINAL TICKET.. or don't you KNOW that? The only reason to wait to buy the return ticket is, you are not planning to come back to the country you left and that is a RED FLAG at customs and immigration.

My niece is going to Nevis to go to school next year and YES you have to have a round trip ticket! She has to buy them for her and her husband and three kids. You better check with your travel agent or even the school should have the official answer for your question. Good luck. Hope all goes well for you at school. :)
